Dr. Nanthaporn Janchalia “Prae” Seributra, CEO of Starfish Education, joined Bett Asia 2024 on October 2-3 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!
Bett Asia is a Leadership Summit and Expo in the region that gathers a senior-level audience of over 2000 senior government representatives, educators, and innovative EdTech vendors under one roof.
The two-day event at Bett Asia 2024 concluded with insightful discussions on the future of education and technology. Dr. Prae hosted a K12 Stream session and also was a panelist on “Teaching and Technology: Skilling Up.”
Day one focused on “Powering up education, driving positive change through AI and technological advancements,” covering:
Teacher Professional Development through Online Communities – Empowering educators to connect and grow.
Effective and Responsible AI in Education – Thoughtful, ethical AI integration to enhance learning.
Prioritising Student Well-being – Addressing mental health and well-being alongside academics.

On day two, the panel on “Teaching and Technology: Skilling Up” covered teacher agency, fostering school learning culture, lifelong learning for educators, and supportive policies for professional development.
Dr. Prae reflected on the experience: “I’m really happy to have reconnected with my network and friends, as well as met so many new, inspiring people. It was a great exchange of ideas on advancing education through technology and innovation.”
